Russia is a great country, not only in its territory, but in its history as well. Many Russian cities have deep cultural and historical roots. For real Russia-lover it should be interesting to learn about the occupation of ordinary Russian craftsmen from small villages, as they were no less talented than famous artists. Wonderful patterns in embroidery and carpet weaving, unique kitchenware with certain pattern, beading, basketry and other folk hand arts are now preserved in samples in different arts and crafts museums and in museums under open air.

As for modern art, there are many theatres in Russia. World wide famous The Bolshoy in Moscow, where operas and ballets are staged, Mariinsky in St Petersburg, and a great number of others, where you can enjoy the performance - operas, ballets, dramas, comedies as well as interior of a theatre itself.
